How we work
<\/strong>We process your personal data primarily to fulfil our obligations to you. Our starting point is to process no more data than necessary for our business purpose, which is to sell expanded metal to parties who have actively expressed interest. We strive to use the least privacy-sensitive data possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>We only process personal data when we have a legal basis. We do not process personal data unless required to perform obligations under contract or law. Examples include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do we obtain your personal data?
<\/strong>We collect data in connection with enquiries, quotations, and orders. At trade fairs and during visits, we obtain your consent before registering your details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do we process your data securely??
<\/strong>We have routines and working methods to ensure your personal data are handled securely. Only employees and others within our organisation who need the data to perform their duties have access to it. Our security systems are designed with your privacy in mind and provide strong protection against intrusion, destruction, loss, and other alterations that could pose a risk to your privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When do we disclose your personal data?
<\/strong>Our general rule is not to disclose your personal data to third parties unless you have consented, or disclosure is necessary to fulfil obligations under contract or law. Where we share data with third parties, we sign data-processing agreements and confidentiality undertakings to ensure secure processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your choices and rights
<\/strong>You have the right to have incorrect personal data corrected. In certain cases, you may ask us to delete your personal data (\u201cthe right to be forgotten\u201d). We cannot delete data that constitute public records or where statutory retention applies (for example, bookkeeping rules). We delete personal data upon request from the data subject or, at the latest, one year after a customer relationship has ended. (Because many of our customers purchase infrequently and there is often a long period between first contact and order, we consider the customer relationship active for an indefinite period until the customer informs us otherwise.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All registered individuals have the right to obtain information about what personal data we store about them at Expandermetall AB. If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, please contact us for correction.
