Unless otherwise stated, the following terms of purchase apply to purchases from Expandermetall AB.
Significant and/or repeated changes to a confirmed order are subject to a change fee of SEK 1,000.
Our operations are governed by environmental, occupational health & safety, and quality management systems.
All expanded metal is straightened to some extent in a straightening mill.
(With the optional “planvalsning,” the product is leveled/flattened to achieve a “flat” finish similar to perforated sheet.)
If you require expanded metal with exactly the same specification as a previous delivery, please state the previous order-confirmation number as a reference when placing a new order. (Not applicable to stock items.)
All expanded-metal dimensions are stated with the width first (width × length). The width follows the long way of mesh, “LWM.”
Unless otherwise stated, products are manufactured from standard material, possibly extra-oiled, and supplied without additional surface treatment, with dimensional tolerances according to ISO 2768-1 class c.
Delivery terms: Incoterms 2010, FCA Ydre (Tranås).
Transport is primarily via Schenker-BTL on recipient’s freight (freight collect).
Unless otherwise stated, the delivery date refers to dispatch from us or our partner and is stated per ISO 8601 (YYYY-MM-DD) with place indicated.
Package/consignment weights up to 3 tonnes per pallet may occur unless otherwise stated.
General delivery conditions according to NL01 / Orgalime S 2000.
Payment terms: 30 days net from the date of delivery to our bankgiro account, subject to approved credit assessment.
For stock sheets, no set-up charges or minimum order values are charged.
Material cut to size from stock expanded-metal coil is subject to a set-up fee of SEK 1,000 (or charged on a time-and-materials basis).
Material from custom (non-stock) production is charged SEK 2,000 per machine type and production run.
Packaging: standard EUR pallets (A or B grade) with collars and lids, half-pallets, or pallets built from loose timber—charged at cost.
All prices are in SEK, excluding VAT.
We reserve the right to prior sale of raw materials and machine capacity.
Unloading times at the stated destination are assumed to be 07:00–16:00, Mon–Thursday. Friday 07:00-14:15
The customer must perform incoming inspection of arriving goods without delay (typically within 1 working day).
Uncoated expanded metal is often susceptible to corrosion. We therefore wrap such products in plastic; remove this construction film immediately after unloading. Store such material in temperature- and humidity-controlled conditions. As a rule, never place goods on wet ground—for example during re-handling at outdoor unloading.
In the event of possible corrosion or transport damage, photograph such deviations before unloading from the vehicle where possible, and note them on the carrier’s consignment documents. This maximizes the chance of full financial compensation.
